Program Period

The duration of the Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship varies based on the level of study:

• Undergraduate and general medicine programs: Citizens younger than 25
• Graduate and residency programs: Citizens younger than 30
• Doctoral programs: Citizens younger than 40

Successful applicants of the 2024 Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship will receive comprehensive financial coverage, including:

Applicant Qualifications

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria, including citizenship requirements and age restrictions based on the level of study. Applicants must be citizens of   OIC and NAM member countries. Additionally, candidates must provide essential documents, such as completed application form, diplomas, passports, health status reports, CVs, motivation letters, and proof of English proficiency (for programmes in foreign languages: for undergraduate programmes IELTS 5, TOEFL 40, for other programmes IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 50).

How to Apply

The application process for the Government of Azerbaijan Scholarship involves two stages:

• Official nomination by respective state entities/government authorities
• Submission of required documents through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website during the specified application period
• Shortlisted candidates will undergo document review and interviews, with successful applicants notified of the results by July 2024.
