Through its association with leading British universities, the British Council is delighted to be a part of the largest in scope Women in STEM scholarship programme which gives women all over the world the opportunity to study STEM related topics in the UK for the fourth year in a row. The scholarship program is specifically designed to uplift women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The goal remains to provide talented and determined individuals who aspire to study at the UK top universities the chance for a master’s degree.

Eligible Program

The scholarship is open for candidates who are currently enrolled in any MSc course in sciences, technology or math in any UK university.

Program Period

Successfully selected applicants will take their studies of the year 2024–2024, academy year from September/October 2024 in UK.

• Travel costs
• Visa and health coverage fees
• Refund of an IELTS English language test, if needed

Applicant Qualifications

• Showed clear need for funds.
• Boarding an undergraduate programme that allows an immediate face off of pre-chosen graduate courses in UK universities.
• Use of the English language proficiency on the required academic level for the postgraduate studies.
• Inclusive students such as participating in actual jobs or internship in STEM subjects; which is a proof of students’ understanding.
• The preparedness to undertake educative tasks as responsible British Council scholarship holders.
