The University of Auckland Scholarships 2024-2025 are partially funded scholarships designed to attract high-caliber international students for undergraduate and master’s studies. Each year, up to 50 scholarships valued at up to $10,000 each are awarded to eligible candidates.

Eligible Program

Coverage

Applicant Qualifications

To qualify for the University of Auckland Scholarships:

  • Applicants must be international students (not citizens, permanent residents, or visa holders of New Zealand or Australia).
  • Students must be enrolled in a master’s (taught) program of 120 points or more, or an undergraduate degree with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications.
  • Research master’s program students are not eligible.
  • Students from University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) and New Zealand secondary-school leavers are ineligible.
  • Distance education students are not eligible.
