Thailand Government Scholarships

The Thailand International Postgraduate Scholarship (TIPP) under the Thailand Government give away its fully-funded scholarships to international students to pursue for their MA degrees in Thailand. Since its emergence In 2000, the program has contributed towards these goals of sharing knowledge and strengthening long-term sustainable development among the developing countries.

The Thailand Government, who administers the fully-funded scholarships for the TIPP (the Thailand International Postgraduate Program), invites international students to complete their postgraduate studies in the academic year 2024-2025. The program is launched to finance the fellowships of the developing partners and to promote South-South cooperation.
TICA’s International Training Course (ITC) on an annual basis and the Thailand International Postgraduate Program (TIPP) try to ensure that Thailand do their part to contribute to a sustainable world order.

Eligible Program

Program Period

  • The scholarship will cover the duration for normal master’s degree program.

Coverage

  • Return Air Ticket from Economy Class and Airport Pickup Service.
  • Local Travel all around Thailand.
  • Living Allowance, 7,000 Baht Monthly.
  • Accommodation Allowance of 7,000 Baht Per Month in a Regional Province or 9,000 Baht Per Month in Bangkok and Phuket.
  • Settlement Money: 6,000 Baht on their first arrival to Thailand.
  • Books Allowance: 10,000 Baht per year. (Only 4 semesters for Master’s degree)
  • Thesis allowance of 20,000 Baht for mandatory fieldwork is provided for data collection and a lump sum amount of 12,000 Baht for a thesis printing or an independent study (IS) printing of 8,000 Baht.
  • The tuition fee of awardees will be fully covered from the TICA account, excluding insurance fee and transcript fee.
  • Health & Medical Coverage.

Applicant Qualifications

  • Good command of English (English language proficiency test may be required)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant professional experience
  • Working in an area related to the course provided
  • Age less than 50 years
  • Good physical and mental condition
  • List of Eligible Countries

  1. Fill in the online application form on the TICA website.
  2. Be nominated by the National Focal Point for International Development Cooperation.
  3. Prepare and submit required documents as per instructions provided.

Application Deadline

  • The deadline for applications is in July annually, but it is subject to change. (TBC for TIPP 2024)
