McDonald Fellowships (Fully Funded)

The McDonald Fellowships funded by the Multiple Sclerosis International Federation (MSIF) are to provide young researchers from low- and middle-income countries with an opportunity to conduct research in other countries. This fellowship is designed to stimulate exchange of knowledge and creation of capacity in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS) research.

Through the advanced funding of non-degree academic programs, the McDonald Fellowship awards scholarships for international students engaged in master’s and doctoral studies at more than one research area in multiple sclerosis. The fellowship comes with a two-year grant amounting to the travel and living expenses required to ensure that the grantee stays at a research institute in a country that is not the home of the grantee. Low- and middle-income countries will continue to benefit from qualified MS researchers who will continue their research in the field of MS research and patient care.
