Inviting the applications for another round of Leading Asia scholarship to attend 2024 One Young World Summit to be held in Canada. This year, the conferences will cover a wide range of topics worldwide, from September 18th to 21th, 2024, in Montreal. The full grant will be autonomous on all the costs that our applicants incur in attending this summit. The process of getting selected is very intense and the application form has to be checked out by the applicant very accurately.
This Leading Asia campaign seeks to select and send top email young leaders from Asia to the One Young World Summit. The fully-funded scholarships the organization aims to award is for young people who have shown outstanding leadership and compassion towards their countries and as such are competent to serve those positive changes long enough.
The Summit delegates end up being the next global ambassadors of the One Young World movement whose reach transcends all borders. They bring with them the right connections, insights, and the motivation to advance positive change. From being part of the world’s largest network of over 15,500 young leaders, they become fortified to grow and deepen existing social initiatives or initiate fresh ventures.
One Young World literally stands on top of the world as a powerful global platform for training successful youth leaders whose impact is widely known at international level whereas the foundation of their efforts is local. Engaging young people globally and promoting international understanding are the key objectives of an organization which does it by running annually, funded Summit in Canada to gather 2,000 governmental, business, non-governmental representatives and helpers to find solutions to countries’ major challenges and work with reputable individuals in the policies, business, and humanitarianism fields.

Applicant Qualifications

• Are between the ages of 18 – 30
• Have an evidenced commitment to delivering positive change
• Demonstrate capacity for leadership
• Are addressing key local and/or global issues in your work
• Have a track record of generating impactful and innovative ideas
• Are a national (passport-holding citizen) of one of the countries listed below

How To Apply

• The application process for the One Young World Summit is online.
• All candidates must enter the correct details.
• The selection of candidates is also made on certain criteria.
• The selection will be made by the middle of May 2024.
• One Young World Summit team will contact the selected participants.

• The last date to apply for the Leading Asia Scholarship to attend the One One Young World Summit in Canada is April 9, 2024

The strongest applicants will be shortlisted by mid-May 2024. You will be contacted individually by a member of the One Young World team if you have been shortlisted.

Please note:

• We cannot guarantee any applicant that they will be shortlisted or that we will secure sponsorship for any shortlisted applicant.
• Priority will be given to applicants from countries that have been less represented at previous One Young World Summits.
• Priority will also be given to first-time Summit attendees (not One Young World Ambassadors)
• Due to the overwhelming amount of applications we receive, One Young World is unable to respond to individual emails enquiring about the outcome of the Leading Asia selection process.
• We do not provide feedback as to why candidates are not selected.
