IOE Centenary Master’s Scholarships

The IOE Centenary Master’s Scholarships has been developed in collaboration with International Students House (ISH). The scholarships being offered fully cover the cost of tuition and living expenses for one year at ISH. The Institution of Education (IOE) in University College London (UCL) is well known to be at the top of educational studies and practice.

The primary goal of is to assist in financing the tuition of those applicants who come from the low or low-middle income countries on studying a full-time “Master’s” degree programme at the IOE. These scholarships, jointly awarded with ISH, are meant to give students who benefit from them the ultimate opportunity of traveling to London and attending one of the top educational institutions in the world.

Eligible Program

The scholarships are available for full-time master’s degree programs at the Institute of Education (IOE) at University College London (UCL). However, the scholarships are not applicable to the MA/MSc Educational Neuroscience or any online courses.

Program Period

The scholarship is tenable for one academic year, covering the duration of the recipient’s master’s degree program at IOE.

Coverage

The IOE Centenary Master’s Scholarships cover:

  • Full tuition fees for the recipient’s master’s degree program at IOE.
  • Accommodation in a single room (shared bathroom) at International Students House (ISH) for the duration of one academic year.

Applicant Qualifications

To be eligible for the Centenary Master’s Scholarships, candidates must:

  • Be domiciled in an eligible low or lower-middle income country according to the World Bank classification.
  • Have received an official unconditional offer letter to study a full-time master’s degree at IOE, issued by UCL Admissions.
  • Not have studied or lived in the UK before.
  • Note: These scholarships are not available for the MA/MSc Educational Neuroscience or any online courses.

How To Apply

  • Once applicants receive their unconditional offer letter, they can complete and submit the online scholarship application.
  • The full list of Master’s degrees is available on course website. Once you have found a suitable programme, click on the Apply Now button on the programme page to make your application. Please note that it can take up to 8 weeks to get an application processed by our admissions department.
  • Details on the application process, including requirements and deadlines, can be found on the scholarship’s official website.

Application Deadline: The deadline to apply for the IOE Centenary Master’s Scholarships is 3 May 2024. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications before the specified deadline to be considered for the scholarship.
