The Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship is part of the European Union’s Joint Master’s Programs, designed to promote academic excellence and international cooperation in higher education. Funded by the European Union, this scholarship offers fully funded opportunities for students to pursue postgraduate studies in the field of microwave electronics and photonics.

The Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship (European Master for Industry in Microwave Electronics and Photonics) aims to provide exceptional students with the opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills in the specialized fields of microwave electronics and photonics. This fully funded scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses, travel costs, and provides a monthly stipend to support students throughout their studies.

Eligible Programs

The EMINEP Scholarship program is offered in partnership with prestigious universities in Germany, Italy, France, and Spain. Students have the opportunity to study at the University of Limoges (France), the University of Brescia (Italy), the University of the Basque Country (Spain), and the Abbe School of Photonics at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany). This collaborative effort ensures that students receive a comprehensive and diverse education experience.

Program Period

The EMINEP Scholarship program spans a maximum duration of 24 months, during which students will pursue their master’s degree in microwave electronics and photonics. The program aims to enhance the quality of teaching, strengthen connections with industries and research institutes, and provide students with valuable skills and knowledge to thrive in their respective fields.

The Erasmus Mundus EMINEP Scholarship offers extensive coverage, including:

  • A monthly stipend of €16,280 for the full duration of the program.
  • Full coverage of tuition fees, travel expenses, and visa costs.
  • Health and travel insurance for the entire period of study.
  • Additional support for living expenses, ensuring that students can focus on their academic pursuits without financial constraints.

Applicant Qualifications

To be eligible for the EMINEP Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering, telecommunication engineering, photonics, or applied physics.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in key areas such as signal processing, electromagnetism, telecommunications, and photonics principles.
  • Provide evidence of previous professional experience, internships, or research projects related to the field.
  • Submit required documents, including academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and proof of language proficiency.
