Discovering the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program for International Teachers

About the Organization: The Fulbright Program, state-owned and under the auspices of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, is one of the most prestigious programs, aimed at the spread of international educational exchange and mutual understanding. Selected educators from different parts of the world go through a four-month professional development and cultural immersion program in the United States. While in the program, participants do either individual or group research work, attend advanced classes either at the undergraduate or graduate level at a U.S. host university, or cooperate with U.S. colleagues from primary and secondary schools.
